Repeat Telecast

I survived on repeat telecasts. Without them I do not know what to do with my current life. I have this annoying habit, at least to my sister, that I always do not catch the first round, instead, i will wait for everyone to go to bed or work before I catch the repeat telecasts. I think cable vision was invented solely for me or for people like me. One show will be repeated 4 times in 24 hours, just perfect for me, a boring person with chronic insomia.

If you do your sum correctly, I will watch an episode for at least 3 times which according to my sister is a total waste of electricity. Not time, because that is one thing that I have too much on my hand. The beauty about having the luxury to watch a show 3 times, is that you can swift your fcus on different characters each time the episode is repeated. The first time you watch it, you can concentrate on the story, the 2nd time, the female lead and the 3rd, the begger by the roadside. In this way I do not miss out any important details. I should be a security guard. Make that a supervisor.

Lat night I was watching for the 3rd time my favourite period drama. I love period drama. I love the settings, I love the way that all the actresses are so prettily dressed up. And last night it was the episode where the couple had to break up despite the fact that they loved each other so much. No wait, it is not breaking up because according to chinese customs, there is no going steady, it is straight to the marriage. So the girl decided that even before getting closer, that they should break up. Yes, chinese preiod dramas are messy. Very messy. But the messier the better as it will require more repeat telecasts for me to grasp everything.

7.30pm! Time for 2nd round.

I like LOR too. I pay special attention to the 3rd tree from the right from one of the fighting scene. I thought it was just er, too green.
